About Me

Greetings! I’m a passionate advocate for Singaporean Chinese cultural heritage, with a lifelong dedication to its performing arts. From the age of 13, I immersed myself in the dynamic world of Lion Dance, competing internationally with Tian Eng Dragon & Lion Dance Centre in countries like China, Indonesia, Thailand, Hong Kong, and Vietnam. By 17, I proudly represented ITE College East at the 15th NTU Institutional Lion Dance Competition (2019) and won 2nd place.

The pandemic marked a pivotal shift in my journey. Stepping back from competitions, I turned my focus toward cultural preservation, driven by a desire to explore the roots of Chinese history, art, and practices. Through collaborations with fellow artists, academics, and cultural custodians, I gained invaluable insights into rituals, symbolism, and stories often overlooked in modern Singapore.

This awakening inspired me to pursue the Guided Learning Module at Temasek Polytechnic, where I combined my lived experiences with academic rigor. Today, I channel this knowledge into 3SINOTOPIC—a platform bridging generations and celebrating Singapore’s unique Chinese identity.

As our society evolves, many traditions risk fading into obscurity. My mission is to safeguard these legacies through education, storytelling, and community engagement.
